FSSAI is relentlessly working towards making its services available to FBOs even in adverse conditions such as lockdown of internet services, natural calamities or unforeseen technical glitches.
A standard operating procedure (SoP) has been prepared by FSSAI for the situations like above to have uninterrupted services available to the FBOs. FSSAI has observed many internet breakdowns in recent times consequently interrupting the services. To address these kinds of unwanted situations, it has come up with this SoP which will work as the guidelines in these situations.
The SoP has been attached for guidance to concerned authorities for issuance of offline licenses/registrations or allowing food businesses to continue their food businesses whose licenses/registrations have expiry date during the period of non-availability of the online licensing system in the region.
