FSSAI has declared Food Import Clearance and functioning of notified Food Testing Labs under Essential Services.
All personnel working under these departments are required to present on the duty to ensure the smooth functioning of trade and related operations. These offices will remain open from Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6 PM.
Offices of related departments are fully operational for scrutiny of applications, visual inspection and sampling of import clearance to ensure processing of applications and issuance of NOC.
The FSSAI has offices in Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin, and Tuticorin.
