In the view of lockdown due to COVID-19, to maintain uninterrupted food services and supply and to keep maintaining the trade practices, FSSAI has extended the provision of issuance of Provisional No Objection Certificate (P-NOC) for the consignment of imported Crude Oil (Edible grade) and Food Grains till 30th May 2020.
A similar extension was given till 15th April 2020 but due to continued lockdown FSSAI decided to give further extension till further notice.
Importers are asked to declare and submit the undertaking or declaration in the prescribed format
to the concerned Authorised Officer and these officers are directed to carry out a visual inspection on the same day without delay and issue the P-NOC upon finding the inspection satisfactory without waiting for the lab analysis report. The final NOC will be issued after receiving the lab analysis report.
